In-depth study on asperger¡¯s syndrome (disorder) has been mostly conducted by researchers or practitioners in the phenomenological approach and psycho-dynamic theorists. The term, asperger¡¯s syndrome (disorder), was constructed and categorized by their research. However, this categorization not only makes children and their families see themselves in a fixed identity but also influences their social circumstances. Once they are categorized, the children are simply treated as different or abnormal and the rest of their identity features is lost. Against this backdrop, this study tries to focus on unique experiences and daily lives of children with asperger¡¯s syndrome and their family members as they are. The foremost purpose of this study is to provide opportunities for the children to tell their stories fully, allowing their stories to be interpreted and reinterpreted in depth. Another purpose is to contribute to the research of asperger¡¯s syndrome and the academic world through the research results. The subject of this study was a nine-year-old female child. She and her family voluntarily participated in the study. The study was carried out focused on a narrative therapy via drawing cartons based on the social constructionist views.
